Description

Students will explore and understand the core question, “How will we sustainably feed 9 billion people by the year 2050?” These 6 lessons can be used in full or in part to help students understand the factors of human sustainability including soil health (fertilizer and nutrients), water availability, arable land use, economics, and careers. Each lesson is paired with an engaging game for students to practice what they are learning on a virtual farm.
